The Salvation Army of Greater Green Bay Welcomes New Leadership

Green Bay, Wis – The Salvation Army of Greater Green Bay announces new leadership of the Green Bay Corps Community Center and Kroc Community Center.
Captain Matthew O’Neil is the new Brown County Coordinator and will oversee all operations of the Green Bay Corps Community Center on Union Court and the Thrift Store on West Mason St. He will also oversee the Kroc Center's Worship activities and services.
“We feel blessed to have been assigned to a wonderful and supportive community,” said Captain Matthew O’Neil. “Since arriving in late June we have been warmly welcomed and are excited to continue the great work of The Salvation Army in Greater Green Bay.”
His wife, Captain Malinda O'Neil, is serving as the Senior Kroc Center Officer. In her new role she oversees the business and operations of the Kroc Community Center on Lime Kiln which offers programming opportunities to the Green Bay community in education, arts, fitness, recreation and aquatics center.
“It is an honor to be assigned to oversee the operations of one of the 26 Kroc Centers across the county,” said Captain Malinda O’Neil. “There are so many inspiring programs and opportunities in this building for our community, and I’m looking forward to being a part of the Kroc family.”
The O’Neils have 14 years of Salvation Army experience and have impacted many lives in their previous appointments. After being commissioned in 2004 they were assigned as Corps Officers for The Salvation Army's Wayne/Westland Corps in Michigan.
After four years of service they moved to the Midland Corps in Michigan. Their last six years have been spent as Divisional Youth Secretaries at the Midland Divisional Headquarters located in St. Louis, MO. In their role they provided hundreds of youth Spiritual experiences that taught outdoor skills, team work, leadership and spiritual connections at Camp Mihaska located outside of St. Louis.
