Janesville –February 27, 2019—The Salvation Army of Rock County is hosting an Others Luncheon to bring people together for our annual spring fundraiser. This benefit highlights the work of The Salvation Army and our programs, such as the Food Pantry, Community Lunch, Pathways of Hope and the transitional living program. The event is uplifting, and attendees will hear first-hand how The Salvation Army has helped those in our area, including a heartwarming testimonial from a program recipient. The fundraiser will be Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at the Southern Wisconsin Regional Airport in Janesville at 11:30 a.m., and will feature music and a catered lunch.
This year’s luncheon will be highlighted by our guest speaker 2018 Olympic Gold Medalist John Landsteiner. He will share his amazing story and journey that will inspire and challenge everyone present to become individual champions in all areas of your lives. Additionally we will be honoring a Janesville native for his years of unwavering commitment and dedication in serving others.
The event costs $40 and reservations are being accepted through April 15th. To RSVP contact Patrice 608-757-8300, or email [email protected].
