THE SALVATION ARMY prepares families for cold winter – “COATS FOR KIDS” & warm clothing drive ramps up!!

The Salvation Army is accepting new and gently used winter coats, snow pants, boots, sweaters, sweatshirts, jeans, and warm blankets to be given to needy families in the counties of Marinette and Menominee.  The collection has begun and will go through November 2 with distribution November 10, 2018. 

Captain Rhegan of The Salvation Army says, “with three kids of my own, I know how quickly children grow and wear out clothing and winter gear. This drive gives us the opportunity to provide the items necessary to keep kids warm and healthy through the winter months to families struggling to meet basic needs. I have confidence that this generous community will help us keep every child warm this winter.”

Applications will be taken during the month of October for families in need of warm clothing. Please call us at 715-735-7448 for times and qualifications.
