Salvation Army Officers, Employees and Volunteers Remembered on 9/11

Sep 11, 2015 | by Krachel Greenwood

The Salvation Army was the first relief agency to reach Ground Zero on September 11, 2001, reporting within a half-hour following the first plane crash at the World Trade Center site in New York City. In the weeks and months that followed, 39,000-plus Salvation Army officers, volunteers and staff provided assistance. We pay tribute to those from Wisconsin and Upper Michigan who served during that time. Their names are listed here.
