Behind the Shield: Raymond Gordon, Food Pantry Supervisor - Fond du Lac
Raymond Gordon has been involved with The Salvation Army for the past 4 years as the Food Pantry Supervisor. He helps stock the pantry and then guides clients through the pantry, offering a kind heart and an encouraging word to every one of them. According to Connie Millard, who works at the Fond du Lac Worship and Community Center says, “Gordon is gentle and kind, and so easy for people to feel comfortable around. A. Through ADVOCAP
Q. What is your favorite part about being involved with The Salvation Army?
A. I really enjoy helping the people
Q. What has been your favorite experience at The Salvation Army?
A. Helping a large family with children who really needed food. Seeing their gratitude touched my heart. I knew we'd made a difference in their lives.
Q. What is one thing you believe the world should know about The Salvation Army?
A. How much good they do for people in need.

A. Generous, helpful and caring.
